Course Description

Participants enhance their ability to deal positively and effectively with organizational change. Understanding the change cycle allows participants to utilize their inner resources to manage each stage. Course Objectives: At the end of the course, the participant will be able to: * Describe the cycles of change and how one is personally affected * Describe orally and/or in writing the principles of response vs. reaction * Describe the positive aspects of change * Demonstrate through exercises and apply strategies on the job to overcome roadblocks to change * Demonstrate through exercises how different personality types respond to change * Apply personal strategies on the job to sensibly deal with organizational change * Complete an individual action plan for dealing with organizational change * List common mistakes in dealing with change and describe how to eliminate them
